Ryan Pryor and I have been meeting every weekend for the last month. I've been amazed by the amount of stuff I don't know about mixing, and watching and listening to how musically Ryan treats everything. I'm extremely grateful to this guy's help as both our pianist and our mixer-masterer.

This piece is called Leaving New Zealand. This part of the music embodies both the painful sadness I had after leaving the country, and also its utter, glorious beauty that transcends description, but is attempted to be described through music.... Man, do I have more to say about that. But I seriously can't wait for you to hear this piece as a whole.

In the meantime Ryan and I are continuing to do our thing. Sooner than later, The Jordan Ferrin Storyband’s debut album will be ready to go, as will its travel stories.
